This choice: The Salandit has a mischievous (and nasty) idea... • Go Back...Chapter #5Into the outhouse by: sneakyk   This is it. You're dead meat. This vicious, venomous, infernal dragon has you in its maw, and a deadly bite will no doubt follow. But if there's even a slight chance of victory, you will fight tooth and nail to reach it. You scramble about within the creature's muzzle, attempting to fight your way towards the entrance and pry it open. The Salandit's tongue has other ideas, however. It shifts about and coils at your chest, and no amount of effort will allow you to break free. The creature brings you head towards a pair of fangs, seemly poised to quickly and efficiently kill you...
But instead, it thrusts you forward and allows your head to poke out from its muzzle as if you were an inverted pacifier. You find yourself gazing out at the beach, a thin but suffocating layer of slobber coating over your face. You cannot exactly see where you are headed, but you do see something in the distance. You are jostled violently as the Salandit stomps forwward, its low profile and the uneven terrain around you giving you the constant impression that you're moments away from a head-on collision with the sand dunes. As the Salandit scurries about, the saliva at last flicks away from your head well enough for you to see where you're headed. The large wooden structure from earlier. You had wondered what it was for...it seems now you're about to find out.
The Salandit gets on its haunches and opens the gate, then advances forward. It arrives in front of what appears to be a gigantic seat with an opening in the middle of it, then without warning releases its hold on you, sending you tumbling down, landing with an 'oof.'
You find yourself in a deep, dark crater in the ground, the light of the hole above standing in stark contrast to the relative darkness around you. The light from above is soon eclipsed by the the silhouette of the Salandit's muzzle. The creature breaks into a distinctly humanlike snicker as it peers down at you, the bandit-like lizard clearly mocking your helplessness.
The air around you smells a lot like the Jawa toy did... only worse. You crawl around in the darkness, finding the sand around you to be clumped and squishy, asi f it were recently dampened. You eventually reach the edge of the hole. You attempt to climb up, but find it too steep and two deep for you to have any hope of escape. doubling back, you eventually step on something squishy and trip and fall. Crawling towards the light, you see that your bare foot is covered in a distinctly brown gunk.
You scream and mash your foot against the sand in an attempt to clean your foot off. Your initial suspicions have been confirmed. The Salandit's dropped you into an outhouse pit! Mercifully, the pit is relatively clean (all things considered), but this place is not at all safe! You beg the Salandit to save you, but the Pokemon merely watches your pleas with increasing sadism before at last scampering off.
Eventualy, morning turns to day, and someone arrives...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
