A cat burglar dressed all in black

The figure is very cautious as they creep through your front yard

The windows are all checked to see if any light is on and to see if they could be opened afterward

Of course, none of them could. The house cant interact with anything in the outside world until it enters through the front door. Any other way you could feasibly leave the house will be impossible upon the actual attempt

The would-be thief decides that whatever is in this house could be worth the effort of trying to break through the front door but upon getting out their lock pick they try the door and discover that it was already unlocked and waiting to be opened

they stow their tools away a quickly step into the house closing the door behind them

You have the following choices:

1. Attack right away

2. Let them explore first
