Chapter #6The Limo Takes Diego to a Mansion by: pedro01   And so, the new era begins! After years of living in the orphanage, it was time to head to a new home and be part of the family. Diego is so excited that the reality has finally come true, though at the same time, he feels nervous when about to meet his adopted parent, Aiden.
He was taken into the limousine, where he can see he was on his own, but only a couple of seats with one stretched longer on one side, while there's food pantry, drinks, and the TV on the other side. It feels like he was getting a glamorous reception, since Aiden is a tech entrepreneur, who invests thing very well in technology.
Of course Diego just simply wanted to sit back quietly, and reflect with things in his mind, as he drove out from the orphanage for the last time. The journey took half an hour, while Diego is trying to find words to greet Aiden, and hoping he doesn't messed up. As he was continue to rehearsed himself, the limo stopped, and the door opened to see the chauffeur to greet the kid, before letting him know about the destination.
"Well, here we are, Deigo! This is your home!" The chauffeur replied with a smile.
"Umm... thank you!" Diego nervously replied, as he climbs out of the limo, only to see the look of the building that looks so huge, he's actually gonna stay in a mansion. "Whoa! I never thought this place is huge, sir!" Diego says with astonishment.
"It sure is! That's why Aiden is a rich man entrepreneur after all." The chauffeur chuckled. "Oh, Aiden want me to tell you, feel free to get in the living room, and he'll meet you there in a few moments.
"Will do!" Diego nodded in response.
And so both waved, and the 11 year old boy heads to the mansion and opens the door to get in. The lobby he was lobby is so large, there's a lot of doors he could go and explore. But he wanted to head to the living room, so that he wouldn't want to cause trouble already. Soon, he found the living room to the right, and get in. Every room has a modern look of the decor, and this room is no exception, albeit looking a bit bigger than any standard sized houses.
Diego takes his seat on the couch, and waited to be greeted by Aiden. His mind seem to stuck to his head, and so it happens that in his mind, he felt the ground had started go shake and loud footsteps can be heard. The boy isn't sure why, but it felt something like it as the footsteps had gotten closer to the living room where he's at.
Finally, someone enters, and it was Aiden who comes into the living to see the kid. What's more, he's looks...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
