The two step backed and conversed... They agreed that It would be foolish to try and go in right now, and even more so if they tried to attack the cave itself, and they were stretched thin as a team, so calling for back up wasnt an option at this time, the most they would get is some instructions.
So, Assuming there isn't another way into the caves, They would have a better chance if they waited for whomever lurks inside the dark cave to come out, and spring a trap for them, or at the very least, see what they are up against.
Using the tools they had, and the knowledge they gained through practice and study, they set up a quick trap that would cause who ever to walk into it to be caught and stuck.
And the 2 went into the foiledge and waited, listening for anything, but was only met with the eerie silence that followed them through out the entire day of searching.
Mintues turned to hours, and the sun was setting and it would be dark very soon, but the 2 rangers waited still, and bu the time the sky had turned orange Something happened as...
