Chapter #3Pet to a Goblin Rouge... by: TinyBoi12 "Buddy!" Toft said as she reached down for you with a big grin on her face. Your first instinct was to run but you aren't getting away from a Master Thief that easy, Toft snatched you up so quickly she probably didn't even notice you moving.
You felt a lump in your throat, goblins were commonly perceived as just barely above monsters. Most were bandits, and terrible ones at that, not even really a threat to even new adventurers. But then, you have the ones that were more cunning, thieves and conmen. The biggest contribution to their poor reputation was the various clans banded together, creating the Kingdom of Goblins, led by a brutal Hobgoblin warlord, whose name was stricken from the annals of history. They had plagued the borders of the biggest Human country nearly 4 centuries ago, leading horrifying raids on outlying human settlements, killing, pillaging, and kidnapping. "Hey, you okay little guy?" Toft poked your cheek, shaking you out of your thoughts. She didn't seem anything like the Goblins you'd read about in your adventurers handbook or in the history books. She seemed smart, and honestly? She was kinda cute. Sure her nose was pointy and bigger than a Humans, and her teeth were sharp, but they were hidden by a seemingly gentle smile. "Y-Yeah, I'm good..." You mutter, making Toft giggle at you.
"Heh, I normally wouldn't keep pets, too much trouble moving from one place to the next, but a little Human like you would be easy to transport!" The goblin said cheerfully as she laid on her back and dropped you onto her stomach, which was toned and slightly muscular. She pushed you into her abs playfully, while she wasn't nearly as bulky as a warrior might be, she definitely would outmatch someone like you, who was rather average for a Human of your age.
"So little guy...." indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
