Chapter #6Filling her shoes by: Writer53   Angie Smith was on her knees sobbing. 3 months ago her mother, Jane, had vanished on their family, they had no idea where she had gone. Her father, Tony had tried, but the pain of the woman he loved abandoning him had left him despondent, and in no shape to deal with his brood; 15 year old triplet girls, a 10 year old boy and 8 year old twin girls, forcing Angie, as the eldest by 3 years to step up as the new 'mom'.
But she couldn't while she may be able to boss around her brother and the twins, the triplets were too close in age, wouldn't listen to her and were undermining her authority with the younger ones.
Three months in she was falling apart. "I can't do it!" She cried to no one. "I've tried, so hard to fill mom's shoes, but I can't, I wish I could, but I just can't."
Unbeknownst to Angie, whose tear blurred eyes were focused on the ground in front of her, a shooting star was streaking through the sky, and the wish she had just unknowingly made on it was about to be granted.
Pain suddenly wracked the girl's body, as a tingling overtook her. "What's, what's happening to me?" She asked as she felt her clothes tighten. Stumbling back into the house, she rushed over to a mirror, despite a bout of clumsiness caused by her changing body and stared in horror at her reflection as her features...

Contorted into a familiar face: The face of her mother, before her horrified eyes, Angie transforms into a perfect copy of Jane, But what truly happened? Do Tony and Angie's siblings believe that Angie is Jane? Have their memories changed to make them believe it was Angie that fled? If that is true then did Jane, wherever she is, suddenly transform into Angie? Is Angie now her mom's twin, who has stepped in where her sister abandoned her family? Or does everyone remember things as they truly are, and Angie is simply trapped in the body of her mother?
Contorted into an unfamiliar face: She's not her mother, she's not an older version of herself, Angie has been transformed into a random MILF, who her father can fall in love with to replace his runaway wife, but can Angie convince him that she is his daughter, or will her own wish compel her to seduce her own father?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
