Billy slammed the bathroom door shut and plastered himself against it. His breath was so loud and hard that he was nearly hyperventilating. He didn't see that. He didn't see that. There was no way that was real. No way.
Billy slid along the bathroom door till he was slumped on the ground. His ragged breathing forgotten he just slumped. No way...no way. Drew. Drew had been there and then, then he was...what a BUG. Did, I do that?
Billy didn't know what to make of the situation. He had been clutching his backpack to his chest like it was holding his lifeline. Maybe it was. Looking down Billy saw he was clutching the remote. When had he picked it up? He didn't know.
After catching his breath Billy got up on shaky legs and went over to the sink. Turning on the faucet he splashed his face with water. Looking at himself in the mirror Billy blinked and then pinched himself. No, no this was not a dream. "So its real," Billy said to himself.
"Is someone there?" Billy spun to face the closed stalls where a distinctly femine voice had been heard. Oh no...no, no, no, no....Billy looked to the left and right and realized there were no standing urinals. Had he turned left or right when he ran from the class room? Right was to the boys bathroom, girls on the left...Oh crap.
There was the sound of flushing and a stall door opened. Billy didn't think, he just reacted. Stepping forward he went into the first open stall directly in front of him. The door closed just as he turned around now trapped in the small space. "Hello," A girl's voice echoed into the bathroom. Billy stayed quiet and silently backed up. "Hm, guess they left."
Through the slight crack between the door and the stall Billy saw a shadow pass by and then heard the sound of the faucet running. He slowly crouched down to look out from under the stall door. There he saw a pair of pink and black running shoes and the bare famine leg of a teenage girl...which was appropriate for the setting. He was the one not supposed to be here.
Billy remained very still waiting for the girl, whomever she was to leave. Once she was gone he could just slip out and figure all this out. Oh crap, he needed to go back for Drew...That thought was interrupted as the sound of a door opening was heard and then a series of loud voices. "Did you see what she was wearing...What time was practice...Did you copy the board what did the teacher say..." From his spot Billy saw several sets of feminine feet and legs stampede the tile bathroom floor; white sneakers, sandles, even a pair of heels...
Shadow filled the crack between the stall door...Billy...
