This choice: Thinking Jack's just a bug, Emma's coming to flick him off her • Go Back...Chapter #5Sole sticker by: Tisch Jack saw Emma's hand approach him, her pointer finger and thumb held together, ready to flick him off of her. Jack made quick in standing up and wanted to jump off of her foot, but Emma's hand got to him before he could. Releasing the tension of her fingers, Emma smacked into Jack, the firm contact sending him off of her foot, not too far away from her sandal. Hitting the ground with a thud, Jack groaned. The contact he made with the ground was bad, but so was the flick. His whole body was throbbing. But it wasn't over for him just yet. A shadow fell over him as Jack began to shift on the ground, the sole of Emma's sandal hovering right over him. "No!" Jack yelled, and he rolled out of the way as the sandal came down on where he once laid. Emma was peering under the table, trying to coordinate with her feet to smush this weird thing. Jack ran around in circles, doing a fairly good job at avoiding the aggressive 19-year-old. Just as he was getting confident and making a game out of it, though, Jack stumbled.
Emma smirked. "You're mine now, you weird little bug". Her foot tracked over Jack once again, but this time Jack couldn't get out of the way as he ran out of time. The sandal above him fell on top of him with a thud and pressed him firmly into its sole. Jack spit as dirt from the bottom of the sandal rubbed into his face. Emma began twisting her foot around on the ground, making sure this living thing would no longer be living. "That's right," she grinned, "Eat dirt, bug". And eat dirt, he did. Jack struggled underneath Emma's foot, more dirt attaching to his back as he was dragged on the carpet, more dirt attaching to his front as Emma pressed him harder into her sole. The girl continued her assault on Jack for another good three or four minutes, satisfied when his struggles began to slow until they came to a complete halt. He must have given up. Smiling, Emma raised her head above the table and forgot about the thing.
Fifteen minutes later, the class was over, and Emma stood up to leave. She threw her backpack on her back, and began walking. Before she got out of the door to the room, though, she rubbed her right foot, the one smushing Jack, extra hard on the carpet as she walked out. Emma wasn't sure if the thing was still on her shoe, but she kind of wanted it to be. Stepping on this thing and having her way with it gave Emma a great sense of power. But, setting that feeling of superiority aside, she walked out of the classroom and headed back to her dorm. Jack, all the while, stuck into the sole of her sandal.
-------------------------
It wasn't clear whether Jack was out after Emma had put great effort in smashing him on her way out of the classroom, or if he faded away on her way back to her dorm, but either way, Jack was out of it when Emma walked into her room. She kicked off her sandals and jumped onto her bed, her right sandal flipping upside down, showing Jack's body clinging onto the footwear. Emma didn't realize that Jack was still on until later, when she had another class to attend to, and went to put the sandals on once again. She saw Jack's body face planted on her sole and took a closer look at him. "Huh," she wondered, "I guess that was a person. Oh well, looks like he's dead. Good thing is, now I have a little sticker for my sandal!". Slipping on the sandals, Emma walked out of the room laughing, happy that she now had something unique that would make these sandals special.
For how long Jack remained apart of Emma's sandals, no one knows for sure. What can be said is that Emma made sure to make good use out of her sandals from that last moment on though... |
