Jack made up his mind on what he wanted to do and activated the shrink ray. Without drawing any attention from those around him, he now sat on his seat, a fraction of his previous stature. Jack grinned, ready to engage in whatever shenanigans he could come up with. His first step was to climb up off of the seat to avoid being sat on by any more incoming students.
He worked with haste getting up to the arm of the chair, jumping from the edge of the seat to its handle-like structure connecting each part of the chair together. Though a bit tiring, the climb was relatively easy for Jack and he stood atop the chair's arm triumphant. Jack scanned the room and everything seemed to be as it was before. Everyone else had their attention somewhere else, whether that be on the professor or not. This gave Jack more time to move about and he moved over to the front of the chair's arm, where the edge of the seminar's table was a short distance away. Just going with the flow, finding a new plan along the way, Jack took a running jump and easily made it onto the table, stumbling as he landed. His landing was nicely timed, as just a minute or two after, while Jack was still resting from his quick but strenuous journey from the chair's base, someone sat down. Jack heard the chair squeak and was about to turn around to check out who it was that had just arrived when he heard something worrisome.
"Ew, a bug?" a booming whisper echoed from above. Jack spun around quickly to try and get the person's attention to alert them that he wasn't a bug. Unfortunately, he didn't have any time to even see the face of the person, as their hand approached and they held their pointer finger against their thumb, indicating a flicking position. Jack panicked and tried to dodge, but he was unprepared and could not get away in time. The person casually released their pointer from their thumb and it smacked firmly into Jack, a powerful and painful force that sent him airborne. Jack screamed, terrified of his current predicament and regretful over the decisions he had made. Perhaps if he had come up with a solid plan instead of winging it, he wouldn't be sailing through the air. What Jack didn't know at the time was that he would at least land safe enough not to seriously injure himself. However, where he landed was potentially a problem.
