You'd be lying if you said that the idea of visiting the other Gyms didn't excite you a little. But for one reason or another, you just didn't fancy yourself challenging either Wattson or Flannery. So that only left you with two places to go. You look down to consult your map once more and scanned through the rest of your options which were Rustboro City and Fortree City. Both of them couldn't be more different from each other.
To your west is Rustboro City, the hometown of Roxanne, the current gym leader who specialises in Rock-type Pokemon. From the description of the map as well as through word of mouth, you know that she used to be a star pupil at the Pokémon Trainers School located in the heart of the city, which led to her reputation as an intelligent and hard-working young woman known for her sturdy approach on Rock-types.
On the other hand, the next closest Gym to you was the one located in Fortree City, an aerial city built entirely on the trees located far north-east of the main island. The leader there was Winona, an aviator who uses flying-type Pokémon. She had earned a reputation as an air ace, using her speed and precision to manoeuvre her Pokémon in the sky, giving her an edge over her opponents. In contrast to Roxanne, her carefree nature and graceful personality had solidified her reputation as someone who goes with the flow.
The decision was easy for you, and the excitement rose in your chest as you knew exactly which place you'd be heading to first.
