It was a normal, sunny day in the Lilliputian city of Maybell. A city with an ever-growing population of 2 billion. Though this city may seem normal at first, it holds something special.
This city is home to 24-year-old Sapphire Softmore. A caring, young woman, wife and mother of 14 children. Softmore was an appropriate name for her since she gave the softest, warmest hugs. The lovely Sapphire was inside breastfeeding Evan, Denning, Tyler and Amanda, the four newborns she and her husband were blessed with three weeks ago. Her other children were playing out in the backyard. They appeared to be playing some heroes vs villains game. John and Natascha were playing the heroes and Silk and Irving were playing the villains. The six younger children were the villains’ hostages. Sapphire was on standby to comfort her kids in case they got hurt playing.
The family’s peaceful day was interrupted by tremors that were faint at first, but quickly grew louder and stronger. The children stopped their game to look in the sky. Whatever they saw made them all scream and run inside crying. Another Brobdingnagian, no doubt. Sapphire opened her arms, inviting her frightened children to a comforting hug. Her kids huddled around her, begging for some form of comfort and reassurance from the existential threat outside.
“MAMA! A BIG MONSTER! I DON’T WANT TO DIE! SHE’S GONNA EAT US! SAVE US MAMA!” Those were some of the many things her frightened children were screaming. It broke Sapphire’s heart, but she had to remain calm and confident for her kids.
“It’s okay, sweeties. Mama will take care of it. Just stay inside until I come back. I promise everything will be okay” she said in her naturally soothing voice. She then gave each of the kids a kiss. This seemed to calm down the little ones a bit, even as the tremors became louder and more violent.
“Take your baby brothers and sister and hide in the basement. I’ll be back soon and I’m sure your father will arrive, too. I won’t let the monster hurt any of you”, Sapphire ordered. Her children hastily obeyed her and climbed down the basement, closing the door behind them. Sapphire undid her dress, revealing her costume underneath. It was time for Tiny Titaness, protector of Maybell to defend her city from evil again. The neighbors were hiding from the giant, so she didn’t have to worry about her secret identity being revealed. Sapphire flew off to deal with the gargantuan threat. She spotted people either trying to flee from the Brobdingnagian or hiding within their homes. Some appeared to have spotted her as they appeared to suddenly stop running. They will have nothing to fear for much longer.
As she flew over the mountains, Sapphire was able to get a good look of the evil-doer. A Brobby woman with short brown hair, a tanned, bikini-clad, muscular body carrying a handbag. She could hear some muttering from the Brobby, though it was like bellowing to her kind.
“...dangerous my ass. What can these dust mites do to me? Once this city goes on the black market, I can kiss my debt goodbye. So easy.” The Brobdingnagians never ceased to appall Sapphire. Her kind shouldn’t have to live in fear of people like that. The Brobby then took out a trowel from her handbag.
Sapphire knew the drill. She shot out pink beams from her hands that engulfed the gargantuan woman and she began to shrink. The Brobby was confused by the pink light surrounding her.
“What is this? I'm... shrinking?! Oh god! ! This can’t be happening! Help me!” the frightened Brobby howled. All of the confidence and superiority she expressed previously had vanished. Then...
