A Perfectly Ordinary Trip to the Grocery Store

The last thing Taylor needed to do before she headed out was print off her shopping list. Her mother had asked her to do the weeks grocery shopping and it was honestly not that bad an ask. Still that meant she needed a list because if she went shopping without it Taylor would definitely end up buying another forty bucks of whatnot.

It was usually food. If it was something boxed it ended up sitting in the pantry until it was stumbled upon or donated. Perishables just tended to go bad. If there was no plan to eat that food when it was bought then it didn't get eaten.

With a few quick key strokes Taylor had that list printed off and was heading out the door to her local Bullseye, purse slung over her shoulder with her pocketbook and keys stuffed inside. As she walked out to her car Taylor was meticulously reviewing the list, doing her best to place where every single object was inside the store. Thankfully the list was small so the grocery run shouldn't take long, which was perfect for Taylor.

See, Taylor had a meeting with some friends from high school around lunch. They had scattered across the state for college, and today was going to be their best chance to all meet and hang out for a little while. Funnily enough all of her friends had ended up pledging for different chapters of the same sorority.

It almost made Taylor wish she had gone right off to college. Almost. Streaming money was good money, and at the rate Taylor was earning she could attend school with one of her friends without having to worry about debt for at least 2 years, maybe even a full 4 if she waited another year.

With all that on her mind, the drive to Bullseye was barely noticeable. Taylor grabbed a cart left abandoned in the lot and charged in, determined to get her shopping done as fast as possible.
