By some miracle of fate Parker managed to make it into the storage cubby that just so happened to be at ground level. From within the square bin, the newly miniaturized tiny could only watch as pair after pair of sweaty feet stopped outside of the bin, retrieving their items from nearby.
A gorgeous Asian girl dropped a pair of yellow flats on the ground just outside the bin beside her beautifully pedicured feet. The shoe was tipped towards the bin as if inviting him inside. But just as quickly the inside of the shoe was replaced by the woman's colossal foot which bent the entire shoe causing the poor overworked leather to squeal with the stress.
Parker was reminded that his aunt and sister could return at any moment. Unfortunately, all that lied inside the cubby were 2 pairs of Nike running shoes with ankle socks stuffed inside.
If he wanted to get their attention, the only possible way was to risk going into one of their shoes and hope they feel him underfoot. It was risky. But he already knew for sure he was way too weak to hold on to anything exterior when a giant person moved. And worst case scenario was being thrown off into the clutches of one of these giant stranger gym goers.
So reluctantly, Parker decided on a shoe to stow away in.
