Ted watched in horror as Zoey approached the couch, oblivious to his tiny form on the armrest. He frantically waved his arms and shouted, "Zoey, down here!" but his tiny voice was no match for the distance and her normal-sized movements. Just as she was about to sit down, the doorbell rang.
"Hold on a second, Ted," Zoey said, turning away from the couch. She walked to the door and opened it. "Hey, Lilly! Come on in."
Lilly, one of Ted's good friends, stepped into the living room. "Hey, Zoey! Is Ted around?"
"He should be here somewhere," Zoey replied, looking around the room. "I was just about to sit down and wait for him."
Ted's relief at not being squashed under Zoey quickly turned to panic as Lilly made her way to the couch. "No, Lilly! Over here!" he shouted, but his tiny voice was drowned out by their conversation.
Lilly, unaware of Ted's predicament, plopped herself down on the couch, right where Ted was standing. He had no time to react as her massive form descended on him. The weight and pressure pinned him to the couch cushion, making it impossible for him to move or breathe properly.
Zoey walked back into the room and sat down next to Lilly. "I don't know where Ted could be," she said, looking puzzled. "He was here
