1) Leslie found a shrink ray as a surprise. To convince her nerdy boyfriend to let her use it on him, she comes up with a fantasy scenario involving a giant princess and a tiny accountant. He reluctantly agrees, afraid about what unexpected places his energetic girlfriend could take things.
2) After messing with something in the office, Ben finds himself shrunk to an inch tall. He has to find his way through, hopefully avoiding the giant feet of all the women who regularly walk around.
3) During their time in Washington D.C., April gets fed up with Ben bossing her around. She shrinks him with plans to teach him a lesson.
4) Ben starts feeling strange and is convinced by Leslie that he should go to the hospital. Ann goes out of her way to take care of him. She finds him and fears for his safety at his tiny size. Though she wants to immediately take him to Leslie, she still has a long shift left. She decides to put Ben in a secure place as she goes about her shift.
