Chapter #10

Appre-handed

Lost as you are in your flabby, fluffy, forest you are grateful that the quaking of the scratching paw has ceased for now, giving you some time to grow more accustomed to the alien environment you find yourself in. A sea of blacks and whites stretch ahead in front of you, not only miring your feet in the fluff of the panderen, but stalk like hairs stretching above you forming a canopy of sorts, though you can just about make out the blurry outlines of the outside world, although it’s impossible to make out what anything is at your reduced size. As you look on, you also realise that, despite your feet sinking slightly into the flabby landscape of this gargantuan pandaren belly, you seem able to stand upright on it. You can only surmise that you must be standing right atop the curved part of the belly, not far from where it would meet the chest and stretch upwards towards the shrouded face of your captor. It occurs to you that your best way forward may be to get to the face and hopefully, get the attention of this planetary pandaren.

You walk for what could be either a few minutes or hours without any frame of reference. The stalks of pandaren fur sort of blur together, and there is little to keep you company except for the gurgles of the gut and slightly relaxing scent of the fur of this creature. The pandaren’s actions are hard to discern, but you can only assume that they are continuing to meander around this city, with their end destination being unknown to you, as colours and objects in the distance continue to swirl and move. Honestly, compared to the peril of the paw that came before, you’re thankful that your journey has been uneventful and maybe even a bit relaxing as you trek across it, able to clear your mind a little as you do so. Unfortunately however, you aren’t the only person who wants to interact with this pandaren…

As your journey continues, a shadow drapes itself over the landscape you find yourself upon. You don’t think too much of it at first, until the incomprehensible, muffled voice of the pandaren starts to speak, with an equally muffled response in kind. You can only assume that the pandaren is talking to someone, but that shouldn’t affect you. Right? You think this, but as the shadow that has fallen upon you grows ever larger, you realise you can’t ignore it any longer. A large hand of some kind, blotting out the natural light heads towards you. Being at the mercy of the pandaren’s paw again would be bad enough, but you realise pretty quickly that this isn’t the pandaren’s hand, in fact the eclipsing hand appears to belong to…

You have the following choices:

1. A vulpera!

*Pen*
2. Something else...

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
