He was looking down at the hot broth, it almost looks like he was looking directly at you, that gave you hope, you rolled yourself on the potato cube to face him and started to wave your hands at him, your body got a little burn from the hot broth and it was still weak, so you tried to show him you where there.
But unfortunately, he was completely unaware about your presence on top of that floating potato cube, and just grabbed the ladle and stir a little bit.
In fact while no one of the other team members were looking, he quickly scooped a small portion of the broth on the ladle, in which also had included you in the process, and brought it yo his mouth to slurp the whole content in.
You were in panic, you tried to have and scream to get his attention but it was no use, to huge lips landed on the ladle corner and started to suck all the broth and other vegetable cubes in his waiting mouth.
You watched in horror while the potato cube you were on top were getting closer to the huge bovine lips.
