There was something about the house keeper your parents hired recently, that really infatuated you. She was from some latin country and was a quiet hard worker. Never complained and always tended to the needs of the family.
You watched her work in those old sneakers that desperately needing replacing. You couldn't help but stare at them.
Some nights she would be very rigid and firm which you really liked.
She'd come into your room and chastise you for slacking with video games or Youtube. You'd grumble but didn't want to actually annoy her.
One day you decided to enact an idea you had thought about for a while. Thankfully you were an only child and your parents were always away with work so more often than not it was you and Marabelle.
Mara was busy with the dishes when you crept into the kitchen. You announce yourself and demand Mara help you with a Youtube video.
Mara laughed and with her spanglish asked what was the idea.
You tell its the stinky shoe challenge and that you had to smell the shoes of someone for a whole minute.
"Ay no! Muchacho no es posible. You don't want to smell my shoes" she was very not into the idea.
You insisted to Mara that'd it be fun plus it'd be a break from dishes.
She turns off the water and dries her hands.
"Okay okay fine muchacho, what do I do" although hesitant she gives in.
Setting your phone and hitting record, you explain that she'll hold her shoe over your nose for a minute no matter if you resist.
Mara shrugs then pulls off her sneaker.
You usher her into frame and ask her to grab the back of your head with her free hand.
Mara looks a bit perplexed but does so. Once she does, you double check the angle.
You say stinky shoe challenge take 1 then nod for her to place the shoe on your face.
Once her shoe hit your nose, you inhaled deeply and your eyes rolled into your head.
She thought your spasms were you dying and she quickly removed her shoe to check on you.
You interject saying 'es bueno, muy bueno. mas... mas... por favor'
Mara was shocked that you liked it and wanted more and even so she felt herself enjoy the sensation of seeing the sole heir crave her old sneakers. Although the family treated her well, she was also worked very hard so having the son do this bizarre thing peaked her curiosity.
She had a grin on her face and returned the shoe to her face.
"Te gusta?" she asked.
You excited replied me gusto mucho.
Mara began to laugh as you embarrassingly kept smelling her shoe.
After more than a minute Mara removes her shoe then places it back on her foot.
"Okay run along muchacho. I think you had enough fun".
In a delirium you stood up, which exposed your woody poking through. Mara took note of it and grinned as you walked away.
You couldn't believe how much you flipped her from not being interested to actually seemingly into it.
