The planet of Lizia, home to an intelligent alien species that have been named the Lizians by observing scientists. The Lizians are a warm-blooded reptilian species with remarkable similarities to humans. Their arms, legs, and tails look reptilian enough along side the scaly patches on their faces and bodies. But aside from that, they look practically human with human skin on their bodies and full heads of hair on their heads. Scientists are still researching how this species evolved like this, but in the mean time the Lizians reside on their home planets being observed as a primitive species.
Lizian society can be compared to Earth's medieval era, with the population divided into a rigid caste system of nobility, clergy, peasantry, and several others. This social structure has an interesting interaction with another part of Lizian biology. It's been observed that when Lizians are in a position of authority, their tails grow larger and longer. They can grow so large in fact that often times the Lizian's body will shed their legs to make room for their larger tails, which would then make up their entire lower bodies and they then slither with their tails similar to snakes from earth. Much of the nobility and clergy on Lizia already have adapted these changes and it has had interesting effects on Lizian society.
