One day, the Head Maidbot, HM for short, volunteered to do tourist duty since the Maidbots that usually do the job were needed elsewhere or required repairs from the last visitors. Organic visitors were a lot to deal with as they were either unruly or entitled at worse and tolerable at best. Even if a group behaves, there was always that one apple that would disturb the trip with them being a minor inconvenience and that's for a good day.
Most of the unruly behavior was due to how the authority of the Maidbot planet was ever truly respected. People assume that all the Maidbots on the planet were disposable and were just machines. Not realizing that the tourist were not their designated master and were on the planet as guests. This even extents to any politician who visits at times. Protocol states that repeated or uncontrollable offenders will be sent to jail for a time out. Violators who commit serious crimes were sent to the conversion program.
HM was nervous as she awaited for the group mentally as she made her face force a smile. There was some relief that it was only humans but some stress because it's humans. Human tourists were one of the few most unpredictable guests since algorithms on their behavior varied the most compared to other sapients. When they behave, it was always a tense moment on when someone will act unruly. When they misbehave, it would range from annoying to a big pain in the ass.
"I do hope I can handle them and I'm supposed to be the role model." HM said.
