This choice: Anisha, you can understand what she is saying • Go Back...Chapter #2Anisha, you can understand what she is saying by: Trailblazer "Hey. What are you doing out here so late? It's about to be dark. Are you out here wishing some girl kidnaps you and has her way?" She speaks in a mocking tone. What a weird way to greet someone stranded in the middle of nowhere. Whatever. Beggars can't be choosers. Besides, what kind of girl kidnaps a man. Is she? Well, that's unlikely. She is sizzling hot. She doesn't need to kidnap anyone. "Stop ogling, boy. Don't you know it's a turn-off for women?"
"I am sorry," you quickly respond, turning your gaze away. "I am just overwhelmed by the situation. I was working in my lab, and I suddenly got teleported here. I know it sounds crazy, but just trust me, please. I am a research scholar of ***** University."
"What? Never heard of that. Don't try to play dumb. At least, come up with a better story. If you want a ride, I'll give you one. But don't try to sell a bullshit story. It's annoying. You boys really need to work on your game, geez." She rolls her eyes, opening the car's door.
"I am not lying. I know it sounds crazy. But I may have been teleported to a parallel universe. I was doing my research on that. Even the sun here is green." You softly respond as you get inside her car. It smells so fresh. She clearly maintains it well.
"Oh really? Aw. So unfortunate. I am touched," she pouts, mocking you again as she closes the door.
"Can I drink this water?" you sigh. You know the girl isn't going to trust you. You would be the same as her if your positions were swapped, just not so condescending and mean. Well, at least, she is giving you a ride. Maybe, she is a good person after all.
"Sure. Go ahead." She starts driving. "And since you are new to this universe..." She purses her lips, suppressing a giggle, "you must have no place to spend the night, huh?"
"I don't. But you are already helping me enough. I don't want to bother you more."
"Bother me? I am not bothered at all. I like cute boys. You can stay at my house today. I have a lot of space anyway."
"Really? Thank you so much! That would be awesome. I am still trying to figure out how I can get back to my place."
"Sure, sure." She rolls her eyes again. She isn't buying your story at all. "So, where are you from?"
"New york. It's where my university is."
"Again with the bullshit, really? Didn't I tell you I am not falling for it? Are you a criminal or something?"
"God. No! Please, trust me. See? This is my ID. It even has a government stamp on it. Either I am dreaming, or I have ended up in a different universe. What can I even do to prove it to you?" You sigh, slumping your shoulders.
"Aw. Cheer up. I don't even care where you are from. Just be a good boy, and I won't hurt you."
"What do you mean? Why would you hurt me?"
"Well, bad boys get punished. Don't you know? But you don't have to worry cause you are a good boy, aren't you?"
"I-I am," you blush a little. She is talking to you as if you are someone inferior to her. It's a little strange. No girl has spoken to you like this before. Maybe, this is a world ruled by women! Wait a second... "Uh... Can I ask something?"
"Sure. Go ahead."
"Are females the dominant gender here?"
"Yes. Obviously. What kind of stupid question is that? You are not part of those idiotic male equality movements, are you?" She furrows her brows, piercing into your eyes.
"No...no. It's just that our world was more male-dominated, you see."
"How is that even possible? You guys are just so stupid. Haha."
You are a little annoyed by her calling you stupid. If anything, you are a genius. But you don't think protesting here would be a good idea. It must be tough for her to understand. But you do whimper, "I-I am not stupid."
"Then what were you doing out there so late? You would be dead if some gang found you. Be grateful I reached in time." She stops right outside the city in front of a vast mansion. She must be wealthy.
"I AM grateful. I am just having a hard time explaining my situation cause you aren't ready to trust me. But whatever, I am still very thankful for your help."
"Yeah. You should be. Now come inside."
She gets off the car and starts walking towards the house. Two male guards on either side of the gate bow and greet her as she makes her way without paying any attention.
