This choice: play along and look for an opportunity to escape • Go Back...Chapter #4Play along with Nidhi and look for an opportunity by: Trailblazer This woman is dangerous. The car is going at a decent speed. You have to jump off when it slows down. You have to buy some time, though. It's best to play along in the meantime. "I'll come with you," you speak softly.
"Good boy," she coos, ruffling your hair. You don't say anything in response. You don't like her patronizing attitude. But you have to keep up the act for a little longer.
She extends her toned left arm and holds her hand close to your lips, bent down at her wrist. Her hand smells like lavender. What a lovely scent coming from such an arrogant woman! Her appearance stands up to her haughty demeanor. She is wearing gold and diamond rings on each finger, and her nails are painted silver. The fresh smell of her nail polish and the lavender cream puts you in a trance as you press your lips against her knuckles, each knuckle one by one. You take a deep breath inhaling her luscious scent.
Nidhi giggles, taking her hand away as you watch with puppy eyes, almost sad. "Aww. Don't worry, puppy. There's more," Nidhi smiles smugly as she replaces it with her right hand. Your nose scrunches a little, breaking you out of the trance. This one is not as pleasant as her left hand. It does smell like her other hand to an extent, but the smell of cigarettes dominates all other odors. You give it a quick peck on the knuckle and move your face away.
Nidhi raises her brows, "What was that?"
"I am sorry, I don't like the smell of cigarettes," you answer meekly.
"So?" She says, narrowing her eyes.
Dejected, you play along reluctantly. You bear with the traumatizing odor, giving each of her knuckles long kisses as you try to breathe as little as possible.
"Don't be disrespectful, boy. Take a deep whiff like you did last time. It's not about how good it smells. It's about showing your savior how much you love her," she demands.
Love would be a strong word here. You borderline hate her. What you are feeling is neither love nor admiration. It's just lust. Where are the damn speed-breakers on this road! Dejected, you take a deep breath, scrunching your nose in disgust. You even cough a little as the smell of cigarettes assaults you.
"What a horrible display," Nidhi lets out a disapproving sigh before slapping your cheek lightly with the back of her hand. The car starts slowing down before you can process and react to what just happened. This is your opportunity! You have to make a run for it. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
