You manage to flip onto your stomach and figure out a way to move your body, mostly involving a rudimentary method of slithering your reduced body. If you wanted to survive here, you needed to explore the location. Plus, getting off the exposed beach would hide yourself from the researchers who might be looking for you. Moving the right side of your body and then you're left and repeating, you slowly move into the jungle.
After a long time, you manage to get into the wilderness. You do your best to crane your neck above the grass and any saplings in an attempt to look around. You manage to see a small rock with no plants on it that you can use to elevate yourself. After an exhausting struggle, you make it to the rock and rest your head on top of it. Once you regain your breath, you look around and see you're not even that far from the beach you started from despite being so exhausted from moving, lowering your morale about surviving out here on your own.
Regardless of that, you still look around and spot a path in the jungle that you can travel on. Moving off the rock, you move on in your exploration journey. After a while, you find...
