You were instead about to close the master bedroom door as your wife stood close to it, "Sorry, Ash. I need to go take a nap. Had a long week at work." You groaned, without lingering to her face any longer. It was the usual scowl anyway, that really stressed her temples then further making her face seemingly red like tomato.
"Oh, come on, really?!" Ashlynn whining blared through the door, you had to open it up as she repeatedly tug on the handle. "You only work, what, three days a week, while I have to work close to 60 hours! You don't see me complaining! See, this is why I am seriously considering divorcing you."
"Yeah yeah. If you are that tired, then why not go to home goods tomorrow or something?" You were open to some discussion with her, but those hazel eyes of hers piercing your gaze with her red lips really scrunched up withered down your patience.
"Didn't you hear me? The piece I want is about to be sold out, and the store is going to close in an hour." Ashlynn yelled at you, not bothering to lower her voice down to your sincerity in hearing her out.
You simply brushed her off and head to the master bed before saying, "Then just go... You always complain about my fashion sense anyways. It's not like I would be much help if I'm there."
With a huff, Ashlynn set down her work briefcase to her corner of the room before heading back out, slamming the door as she did.
Apparently, these occurrences occur so frequently that you had gotten used to it. When you first met Ashlynn in college, you thought she was the perfect girl. Well you two had a nice time together, with you easing her up with jokes as she was studying real hard on college materials day by day. You two married right after graduation with bright smiles and much celebration. However, Ashlynn never intended to simmer down her ambitious nature, particularly regarding her career as a doctor. Therefore, she spent less time at home than you expected. She would always say that this was inevitable, since she earned quite a lot and automatically became the breadwinner of the household. To be fair, you don't work long hours, and the nurse's salary is not the best.
This had greatly soured your relationship to the point where even other matters became topics of contention. Now that you think about it, perhaps that was what drawn you to purchasing these possession stones (without Ashlynn knowing, of course).
Obviously, you weren't going to take a nap. You quickly settled yourself in your bed, gleefully giggling to your newly purchased goodies. You decided to take a breather, calming yourself before reading the instructions for the stones.
These are soul stones, it said, and congratulations on being able to buy a pack of these things, loser. An eyebrow raised, instinctively recalling the recent bickering with Ashlynn. Again, you took a breather before continuing.
There are two ways to use the stone... one which transfer your soul out of your body and the other was for you to think about some figure, be it real or fictional ones are possible. I mean, this stone had almost no limits and therefore the perfect copium. If you're still reading then you might think that the stone is just some pebble from my grandma's garden and I just scammed you. Well, I am smart, but I'm not some con-artist. Try one of the methods above and have fun. But please write an awesome review before having fun, don't forget me!!!
You wanted to drop that sheet, felt like a page of some diary being used as a way for you and others to sympathize with the stone's creator. Not a bad idea though.
You wondered about the stone's limit, which made you brought it back to your eyes as you mustered a bit of self-control before getting to the stones.
Go wild with your imagination and desires, the stone has no limits. Well, no limits if you wanted your target to be permanently possessed that is. So, if you didn't want that to happen, make sure to free the target in less than 24 hours.
And finally you put the instructions away as your attention ran towards the bag of stones beside you. Grabbing a stone out of that clothed bag, seeing to a rather odd rock. A transparent stone, if that made sense, with you being able to see through it instead. Another odd thing was it wasn't nearly invisible, because it was easy to see the stone in your hand.
Despite the amazement towards the stone, be it the presumed power and the form itself, you still had thoughts about that recent moment with Ashlynn. Your tiredness to how she treated you just now, which was a cumulative numbness to how dissatisfied you are of her maintained ego over the years. Still, she didn't just kept the 'ambition', as she also keep her figure and beauty in constant care. It kept on mesmerizing you to how her current look still closely resembles to when you met her the first time at college.
Just like that, you wanted to use the stone for the very first time on Ashlynn. You focus your will, wanting to imbue the stone in your hand as you wanted to...
