Robert had selected a bottle of a fertilizing chemical that, according to the label, could make even the most barren of soil into the garden of Eden. Robert scoffed as he read that. "Yeah, sure. Well, I already paid for this stuff. Might as well see how it fairs. Just so happens we're supposed to plant news crops today anyway." They did as the instructions said, mixing the whole bottle with water and spraying into across the entire field before planting the seeds.
To their surprise, it seemed like them mixture actually worked, as within a few hours the the seeds had already begun to sprout across the farm! "Well, I'll be damned!" Said Robert on seeing the results of their work. "Guess that stuff really does what it says."
The next morning, they received an even greater surprise, as everything they had planted was now fully grown, and twice as large as it should have been!" "This is unbelievable!" Said Robert in awe ""I'll have to call that company and order more of that chemical. It's already increased our output tenfold!"
John, the farm's prime breeder buck, however, was skeptical. "Doesn't this seem a bit too good to be true?" He said to Robert as they lay under their favorite tree, looking out at the field of overgrown vegetables. "I admit, I didn't really think it would work at first." Said Robert "But just look at our crops now! And it's only been a few days! You really can't argue with those results."
Still, John had his doubts. Later, Robert and James were walking through the fields, inspecting the crops when they discovered...
