So, Billy spent the afternoon watching the tradesmen dig up the yard for the fish pond. The lanky one got out of the hole and walked off to talk on his phone. As Billy listened, he heard him talking to someone. He quickly got out his sketchbook to write out what he heard.
"Hey, kid," he heard a voice behind him.
He turned around fast and saw the foreman walking up to him. Billy ran for his life, screaming.
"Kids," the foreman chuckled. "What some people would give to be that young again?"
That night, Billy shared with his family what he heard.
"Skinny picked up a dead mole and threw it at Big Belt," he explained.
He came up with the nicknames for the two because of the following reasons: Big Belt because the foreman was a big werewolf with an equally big tool belt and Skinny because the tradesman who was on his phone was skinnier.
He even explained that Skinny wasn't allowed to drive his car and that a girl named Daria was driving him and that Big Belt wanted a pie, but a guy named Joe wouldn't let him.
