The next day, after the Wolfe children went to school, Robert had to tend to the livestock when a familiar face had driven their truck up his driveway.
"Hello there, Robert!"
Robert turned around to see Marcus, who had parked his truck in front of the house.
"What is it this time, Marcus?" He growled.
"I just wanted to know if your little wuss son would be able to serve as bear food?" Marcus replied.
"Oh, no," Robert said. "James isn't a wuss, and he's not someone who can be food for a bear."
"Not that one," Marcus corrected him. "The other one. I forget his name."
"Billy?"
"Yes, Billy. I heard about the bear attack from yesterday."
"My Billy is not a wuss. So what if a bear attacked him? He's just a pup."
"Soon, he will be a bigger wuss than he was this year!"
