As the tiny, half centimeter trio of Amber, Freddy and Terence traversed the tile floors of the kitchen, they couldn’t help but take in the sheer magnitude of their surroundings. The kitchen was like a sprawling metropolis to them, and they constantly craned their heads to look up at the counters that surrounded them. This was most impressive go Terence, who was only experiencing being shrunken for the third time in his life.
“See, told you I didn’t have any bugs!” Freddy said with a cocky tone.
“Gotta hand it to you,” replied Amber. “You keep this place way cleaner than I thought you would.”
The miniaturized employees continued to talk amongst themselves, lost in their own world, not really paying attention to their surroundings. Amber and Freddy continued to chat back and forth teasing each other, while Terence was taken aback in amazement, just silent taking in the sheer magnitude of things. That was until they heard, a screaming feminine voice coming from the carpet fibers.
The group all raised their weapons in alarm, but there was only silence. Then they heard it again. “Help me!” the voice cried out. Not needing to be told twice, the trio took off running towards the forest of carpet fibers.
They didn’t know it, but the device had accidentally malfunctioned, and shrunken someone else who was in the apartment.
