Ignoring the strange a threatening fortune teller lady, the team resolved themselves to enjoy the festival and forget that the past five minutes ever happened.
Putting down Iris so she could go play some stall game, Kanna ran off on her own to find some good festival grub. Completely unaware that she would be the first member of the team to recieve a horrible change. Being the one who knocked over the fortune teller in the first place, she would also be the first target.
"Man, they sure built the stall big this year." Kanna admired the craftsmanship of whoever set up the festival, not noticing that it wasn't the stalls that had gotten bigger but rather her who had gotten shorter! As she walked to the stalls Kanna lost a whole foot of her height, making her the same size as Sumire.
As she purchased some spicy meat on a stick, Kanna wiped some sweat from her head. "Whew, I must be coming down with something." For some reason she felt exhausted and her skin had gone from a nice tan to a sickly pale. Writing it off as a sudden bad cold, Kanna began to look for somewhere to sit.
As she walked, Kanna took a bite of her food. As it moved around her mouth, something felt very off. Did they put metal in the meat?! Spitting out the food and feeling around with her tounge Kanna began to realize something was extremely wrong!
There wasn't metal in the meat, there was metal in her mouth! Feeling around, somehow a large pair of braces had formed out of nowhere! "WHAT THE HELL?!" Kanna yelled out, causing a crowd to look as her.
Pushing through the crowd to get some privacy, Kanna began to pant for air. She felt exhausted after walking around for only a minute. As she caught her breath while looking at the ground, her eyes widened as she saw her clothes change as well!
Kanna's classic karate gi was completely gone. In its place was a pair of bright blue overalls that covered a striped white shirt. As she stared at it, her vision began to blur. That wasn't a problem for long though, as a pair of large round glasses also appeared on her face.
"I've got to find the captain! Shomething bad ish happening!" Kanna told herself, trying to ignore the sudden lisp she just developed, as she ran off to find Ogami, stopping for breath every few feet.
