"Hey! Hows it going on the farm?" Maru asks as she leans back in her bench
"Oh, things are going great honestly! So far my crops have been coming out pretty well, and hopefully soon enough I can get some sprinklers to help automate it!" You say as you sit down next to her on the bench, "Had a really weird dream last night though... I also cant really remember much last night..." You say.
Maru raises an eyebrow, "Did you fall unconscious again? I know you tend to do that quite a bit, especially in the mines, Harriet tells me that you're probably gonna single handedly make her rich!" she chuckles
You shake your head, "No... I usually get a letter from her, or someone at least if I fell unconscious. I dont know honestly... so confusing..." you say to yourself
Maru looks at you in confusion, "Huh... even weirder, you seem to be shorter than usually..." she says. You freeze for a moment in fear, "Actually, scratch that..." she says, but before you can give a sigh of relief she speaks again, "Youre not just shorter, youre... smaller overall!" she says in shock
"It wast a dream..." You say in shock, "What?" Maru asks, still very confused. "Oh crap... ok, uhm... Maru, you're a scientist, right?" you ask as you stand up, your clothes now noticeably baggy on you. "Not professionally, but yes, I know what you mean..." she says as she nods her head. You sigh, "Alright, well, I know Im gonna sound a lil crazy when I say this but... Im being shrunk by a fairy, and Im not quite sure what to do. At this rate I'll be the size of a pebble!" you say in panic, "Gah what to do what to do..." You say as you begin to freak out.
"calm down Toony, it'll be alright! Here, how about I take you to Harriet and we can figure out whats going on, maybe then we can fix this?" she says as she pats you reassuringly, she now is a couple feet taller than you.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
