There's something about the green ones. That's what the men of Earth have always been indoctrinated to think. Green M&Ms, for example, are a "known" aphrodisiac. And in any space opera, if a human male encounters a green alien female, somebody is going to get laid.
So if you're a green alien woman, you really get tired of the human men you encounter thinking you're an easy lay.
Take Greta, for example. She's not a Victorian prude. But because of her looks and her "greenness," human males naturally expect her to act a certain way. So she compensates by acting overly conservative. Although Greta bears a remarkable resemblance to American actress Bobbi Sue Luther portraying an Orion slave girl, none of the pictures on Greta's dating profile are anything but wholesome.
When Greta shows up for your date, she's dressed in casual loose clothing. Her outfit lets you know she's fit and shapely, but it doesn't overemphasize the fact.
Rhe waiter sits the two of you in a secluded booth so you won't have to worry about being stared at. Greta gets a little table set on top of yours.
When the waiter asks what you would like to drink, Greta answers she'll have water and a sip of whatever cocktail you're ordering. You hadn't actually thought of ordering a cocktail with dinner, but now you feel put on the spot to do so.
