The normal world

Welcome to the world of Pokémon!

In this timeline, tales of giant Pokémon were only reserved for the Dynamax phenomenon observed in Galar. but unfortunately (or rather Fortunately for some) things were about to change.
Our story start with a team of scientists specializing the the study of Pokérus, a Pokémon Virus that, in more cases than not, enhances strength of its host, but only for about a day, which it then becomes totally immune! the team was tasked with creating a strain that not only makes Pokémon even stronger, but is purposely incurable!

"The idea is simple..." One of the scientists explained,
"We take our current best Pokérus sample, then interlace its DNA the Galarian Dynamax particles"
"That seems like a stretch" their colleague scoffed, "And a risky stretch at that!"
"True" the scientist replied "But we need result, and fast!"

Indeed both were true, If this were to go wrong, worst case scenario it could be an extinction level crisis. But, the project was bleeding money as investors dropped out left and right as they slowly lost faith, and if this went right, it could change the world for the better.
With little options left, they went forwards with the project, creating what they coined "Dynarus".

Full testing of Dynarus had to postponed until tomorrow. But unbeknownst to the team, the sample was breached, and Dynarus will soon run rampant on this soon to be bigger world.
