How should the residental shorty of the FMA universe get even smaller?

1. After determining the goals of the Homunculus, Alphonse Elric is forced into hiding in the western territory with Roy Mustang and his soldiers. Meanwhile, Mei Chang undertakes the task of watching over Edward Elric all by herself, shrinking him with her Alchestry to transport him back to Xing.

2. After the War with the Homunculus, Edward Elric continues his study of Alchemy and attempts to preform a new type of Alchemy studied in another land. However, the loss of his Portal of Truth causes the Transmutation to rebound, shrinking him to only an inch tall, moments before Winry returns home.

3. While trying to teach Riza Hawkeye about Alchemy, she accidentally preforms a transmutation that shrinks Edward Elric to the size of a bug right in front of her. How will Riza react? Will she keep him as a pet for now, or try to bring him to someone for help?
