The sound echoed through the house and anyone who heard it knew its meaning. Someone was at the door.
"I will go!" Said a loud and distant voice, but Jack was able to catch it.
Suddenly, his transportation ant started to wriggle around, almost knocking the boy off. He soon notice that it was trying to room towards a wall, and he quickly discovered why.
Tremors almost knocked him out of the ant as the bug tried to run to the safety of the wall. From the distance, Jack was able to see the unclear form of a person approaching him. Soon, he realized who she was, Marissa, his cousin, dressed in her normal pink top and moss green shorts. Also, he realized that he was on the way between her and the front door, and she didn't seem to stop.
"Fuck! Run you stupid bug, run!" The boy yelled to the six legs bug.
The ant ran as fast as its six legs allowed, but the tremors didn't seem to make it easy. Looking at his size, the boy became face to feet with the behemoth he knew as his cousin. Two inches further and Jack and his six legs friend would end up with their guts together in the sole of Marissa. The impact knocked both of them to the ground as the girl just loomed over them, not even noticing the terror she just had brought upon her diminished relative.
