How about these lesser-known sumo wrestlers themselves?
Ecco the Dolphin (SEGA): After Ecco discovers a strange portal, he goes through it with curiosity, only to find himself not just in a world where sumo is the way of life, but also as an anthropomorphic dolphin. Confused as to what this new world was like, he soon finds himself enjoying the sumo sport and being a sumo wrestler himself. Little does Ecco know that he's still got lots to learn if he's to fully learn the art of sumo.
Beans (Go, Dog. Go!): When Beans first heard of a sumo league that accepts animals from many different universes, the first thing that came to his mind was "Why not?" and signs up for the league. However, he was unaware of Frank's reluctance to join the league with him or let him join the league, as he thinks he's gone out of his mind. But as the muscles to Frank's schemes, he'll probably convince him that it's okay to be in the sumo league and still be friends with him, right? After all, as long as he can fully master the art of sumo, he'll just be fine being a sumo wrestler himself.
Rex (We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story): The first thing Rex saw after eating some strange food was a group of sumos in some sort of strange place. After exploring the place for a bit, he discovers that this is the Multiversal Animal Sumo League where sumos of all different shapes, sizes, versions, and species live together. Of course, as would any dinosaur living in the modern age, he eventually got used to the art of sumo, and became a sumo wrestler. Only question now is, how long will he go as a sumo wrestler before his sumo career goes extinct?
Leonard Rockruff: Ever since he met BigWolf, Nanaki, and the other sumo wrestlers in the sumo league, he was inspired by them to become a sumo wrestler one day. And become a sumo wrestler, he did. Once he gorged on enough food to become as fat as a regular sumo wrestler, he decided to finally join the MASL. By the time he did, however, he discovered that one of his inspirations, BigWolf, has already gotten too big for the ring, and was thus now being trained by Godzilla himself. But hey, at least Master Hiro is still here, and if he wants to, maybe he'll get to meet BigWolf once again. In the meantime, this Rockruff may have learned the basics of sumo, but his sumo journey is just beginning.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
