Chapter #2One of the sumo masters by: Keninja Keninja: "Oh. So, we're gonna be following one of our sumo masters, huh? Alrighty, then. Which sumo master do you wanna follow?"
Godzilla: Hailed as the Legendary Sumo Master that originally founded the MASL, Godzilla was once a ruthless monster. However, once he gained a sentience and was able to understand himself, as well as the humans that inhabited Japan, he realized that what he has been doing his whole life, rampaging through the cities, was wrong. So he decided to finally stop being a monster and start doing good things for once. That's when he discovered a new sport, the likes of which he has never seen before. Sumo wrestling.
After finding out that sumo wrestling is limited to only humans, he was a bit peeved, but also a bit curious. That's when it finally occurred to him. If there's a human-only sumo league, then shouldn't there be an animal-only league? One where animals from many different universes are legally allowed to join, regardless of how much they weigh. So, he set off to eat as much as he can in order to become a sumo wrestler. In addition, he also decided to become much smaller, and shrank down to the size of an average person, as so to make things more fair.
Soon, he became so fat, he was now legally a sumo wrestler, and he decided to start building the League, which will be called the Multiversal Animal Sumo League, while he practiced sumo wrestling. As soon as the sumo league was established, he mastered every possible aspect of sumo wrestling there is, even down to the most basic ones. From then on, more sumos joined the league, including Master Hiro, one of his first ever students. The gigantic and really fat monster sumo is regarded as 'the one that started it all', and for very good reason. However, as Master Hiro continued to work his way up to the title of master, and as he became way too big for the sumo ring after gorging on many, many different fattening foods, he decided that it was finally time to retire from sumo wrestling and hand down his Sumo Headmaster title to Master Hiro, and with that he lived a very peaceful life on Monster Island.
That was, until the Slime Galaxy threatened to fatten everyone up until they are too fat and full to even stop them from taking over the Earth, if not the entire universe. With no choice, he was forced to come out of retirement and help his former student, Master Hiro, as well as Big Wolf and Nanaki, take down the Slime Galaxy. After they did, Godzilla realized that he'll have to come out of retirement, again, and train the two really big sumos, who are now way too big for the sumo ring in the league. Ever since then, Godzilla is now happy to be a part of the MASL along with his other sumo buddies, and his two students, Big Wolf and Nanaki.
In addition, many different improvements have been made, including allowing certain weight limits to be set for the league, or if everyone is allowed to compete, regardless of how much they weigh, entertainment options, and even devices that can change one's weight in an instant, among other stuff like size-changing. The only question remaining is, how much longer can Godzilla go as a welcoming resident of the league before he finally decides to retire for good? Will he need to come out of retirement, again, again, if he does retire? Or will he happily stay in the league forever or until he dies?
Master Hiro (from BigWolf) (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/4552550...): Hailed as the head sumo master of the MASL, Hiro the Eastern Dragon was once Godzilla's master, and one of its first ever sumos alongside Mewtwo and Master Ra. Having trained with him for quite a long time before Godzilla temporarily retired, he has mastered every possible aspect of sumo wrestling there is, even down to the most hidden details others may not know about. The dragon is regarded as 'Master of the Sumos', and for very good reason. What you may not know about him is that he, like everyone else, still enjoys the sumo sport in spite of his ripe old age. Not only that, but he also has a life outside of sumo, as well. As he continues to get older, however, the most important question to him has been ringing in his mind lately. Is it finally time to retire as Headmaster and hand down his title to a new generation of sumo masters? Or will he continue to thrive as the Sumo Headmaster?
Mewtwo: Known as the Legendary Pokémon of Kanto, this sumo has been one of the first ever sumos to join the MASL alongside Master Hiro and Master Ra. Since he possesses knowledge of everything better than almost everyone else, he soon went from a regular sumo to a Sumo Master. However, being a sumo wrestler isn't what it's all cracked up to be. Sometimes, you have to face challenges in a sumo's life, like a slime invasion, the attack of the bad fatties, and even just some difficult problems. But as long as Mewtwo is still sumo wrestling, he can handle it.
Master Ra (from BigWolf): Alongside Mewtwo and Master Hiro, Ra the Hawk was one of the first sumos to join the MASL, and it really shows. He was even responsible for developing a device that would allow one's user to either get thinner or fatter with a press of a button as well as other alteration options, including size. According to legend in one universe, he once trained Big Wolf and Nanaki to become great and huge sumo wrestlers before they got too big for the sumo ring after stopping a slime takeover. What new sumo wrestlers will he train this time? And will he ever decide to participate in a sumo wrestling championship himself? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
