Cindy feels an incredible tingle throughout her whole body, it's really intense, and a little pleasant. Ok, a lot pleasant, and she blinks. But then she gasps as she is looking up at her father. Waaay up. As she moves and looks around, she realizes everything is bigger, which means... Yep, the suit readout lets her know she is only 6 inches tall! "Dad, I'm a Barbie doll size!"
He bends down and smiles at his doll sized daughter "It works...this is awesome, how do you feel, did the process hurt at all baby?"
She giggles, no way she is telling Dad all the truth, but shakes her head. "No, it actually tickled, felt good... and the readout lets me know my size. This is incredible, Dad, you're amazing. It is a little scary like this, I am so small, everything is crazy dangerous for me like this."
He shakes his head "Nope, once the suit is engaged and reduces size, it shunts the matter into a pocket dimension, which creates a stasis field around itself, preventing more harm the more matter is in the pocket dimension"
Cindy is confused "Um, that's nice Dad, do you have the English translation or is there a way I can turn on subtitles?"
He laughs, but then picks her up, which is freaky, like she is being picked up by a ten story building and she starts to sweat a bit, so high up. "OK baby girl, it means, the smaller you get, the more protected you are. Not that I am going to drop you, but you could easily survive a fall from this height, even more if you were smaller"
Cindy is amazed, the suit shrinks her, but also protects her... wait. "Smaller? How small could you have made me, Dad?"
He holds her in front of his face "If you were listening, young lady, you would have heard me say it can reduce the wearer to cellular size"
She gasps and is stunned, but also... "We need to test this more, Dad."
He nods and sets her on the lab table. "Ready honey?"
She nods, not sure what....
There's that tingle again, and she staggers, leaning on this big shipping crate. Blinks and looks at it...it's a box of paper clips! She reads the display in the suit, she is a half inch tall! She looks up to her Dad, and can hardly see him, how huge he is! "Dad it worked, I'm only a half inch tall" but nothing, and she realizes he can't hear her. But she turns on the built in mic "Dad, can you hear me?"
"Yeah, you are so tiny... I can't hear you obviously, but you probably can't hear me or understand me, since you're shrunk enough your hearing works differently."
"What do we need to test next, Dad?"
