Alone

You know you’re not supposed to go see the Raptha alone, especially on your first trip. But somehow your trip fell through the cracks of the scheduling desk at the Bureau of Giant Affairs. So there was no agent waiting for you when you got to the reservation.

You waited for fifteen minutes but nobody showed up.

You would have called somebody, but there was no cell reception near the reservation. You could have driven back into town, but the permission permit you have has a very narrow time frame. And you were worried that you wouldn’t get a second permit to visit the Raptha.

So when no else shows up, you engage your vehicle’s four wheel drive and drive onto the reservation.

You look into your rear view mirror


You have the following choices:

1. Just in time to see a BGA car drive up

2. But there’s nothing but empty road behind you
