"Yeah unfortunately Jeff is transferring to another police department, something about trying to keep his diet under control or something." Police Chief Wesson said scratching his head. "Sigh that's the second officer this month that's transferred out for health reasons, they don't make cops like they used to any more."
"So who's going to be my new patrol partner then?" Jason asked.
"Toshi will be your new partner he's around your age so I'm sure that the two of you will hit it off just fine. Plus I hear that he's really popular with all the eateries here in Pancione, you won't be worrying about paying for meals as long as he's your partner." Wesson let out a chuckle.
"Oh okay sounds good. I look forward to working with him." Jason hadn't seen Toshi around the police department he always seemed to be out on patrol though from what Wesson was telling him it sounded like a promising partnership.
"Ah and there's the big guy now, Toshi come meet your new partner!" Wesson waved down the officer.
Jason looked over and his eyes grew wide. Toshi was huge. Jason thought the Police Chief was big but Toshi seemed to have 60 lbs. on him. Police Chief Wesson might be big but you could tell he had some muscle mixed in with his flab. The Police Chief had a huge ball belly and while he was fat you could see that his belly was firm with muscle.
Not Toshi though. Toshi was soft all over. His love handles jutted out from his sides and you could see his belly jiggle as he was walking towards them. His chest rested on his doughy gut. His plump moobs were like pillows that rested upon the shelf of his belly. Toshi's belly was a sight to behold. His uniform looked like it was already starting to lose the fight to keep his blubbery form contained. A couple of holes were shown at the bottom of his button down shirt exposing his white undershirt.
"Hey Chief!" Toshi said beaming with excitement.
"Toshi this your new partner, Jason. He'll be accompanying you on your patrols for now on." Wesson said.
Toshi looked over at at his new partner who was actually slightly taller than he was. "Pleasure to meet you partner." He said holding out his hand for a handshake.
"A pleasure." Jason said giving a fake smile. Jason saw that they were both of Japanese descent but the two had lived every different lives. He had heard that it was quite easy putting on weight here in the police force of Pancione. Toshi was the poster child of that belief. Jason had been fighting against the Pancione police curse of weight gain by eating healthy and going to the gym regularly. His results gave him his tone body that complimented his uniform well. Jason wanted to protest and ask for someone else to be his partner, but he felt like the police chief would give him an earful if he tried, after all he wanted them paired together since he thought they'd get along together.
"I'm sure the two of you will do great together. Oh and one more thing. I'll have our new recruit Felix join you for some patrols so he can get some experience. 'I'm sure your both fine with that."
"Of course sir." The two officers said in unison.
"Excellent well I'll leave the two of you to your work." Before Wesson could leave Jason gave Wesson's belly a rub a tradition that was said to bring good luck for officers. "Wesson laughed, don't worry Jason you'll do just fine."
Jason sighed as he looked at his new partner. "Well those streets won't patrols themselves, why don't we get going."
Toshi showed Jason to his police cruiser as Toshi took the driver's see and Jason the passenger's seat. Jason saw that some food bags lying around, clearly evidence of Toshi's breakfast this morning. Also Toshi seat was pushed way back so that his belly wouldn't hit the steering wheel. This was going to be interesting.
