The light dimmed. The dial gone. Jason frowned. What the hell was that all about?
"Brother Eye, what just-"
Jason's eyes shot open. He grabbed his throat. What was wrong with his voice? He touched his cheek with his now bare hand. Wait... were his hands always this slender? And... hairy? His nails had grown so long and sharp they looked like... claws? He felt his face.
Where was his mask? His helmet? He tried to move the long red hair that kept falling in front of his eyes out of the way. He'd never let his hair get that long before.
"Eye? Eye!"
The more he heard his own voice, the more he had to face the fact that he wasn't quite himself. Looking down, he gasped. Two orbs of flesh rested on his chest covered by a thin pelt of fur. God, it was all over his body! He wrapped his hands around them, squeezing them and moving them around. To his horror, they were all too real. He felt every last movement and touch. The newfound sensitivity of his breasts sent signals to his brain he didn't understand.
"Am I an... animal person?!"
Jason looked back and saw his tail swish back and forth just above his filled out rear, feeling every slight movement it made. He ran his hands down his body, taking in the curves he now possessed. His palm glazed his crotch just slightly. He didn't feel anything down there. His worst fear had been realized. It made him a woman?!
Frantically, she looked for her reflection in a nearby window. She froze when she saw a girl standing there with a surprised look on her face. But this wasn't any girl. The animal-like features, lack of clothes, claws, tail, catlike yellow eyes, and the ears were all dead giveaways.
"I-I'm Cheetah?"
Jason reached out and touched her hand against the window. The reflection did the same. This only confirmed what she was afraid of. She grazed the glass with her claw, easily puncturing it with no effort at all. Her new claws sure were strong.
The former Red Hood was no expert on Wonder Woman's rogues gallery but she knew Cheetah was one of her sworn nemeses. That was about it. She wished she'd paid more attention to the Justice League database. If only she was a total nerd like Tim, maybe she'd know more about Cheetah. That information would have come in handy right about now.
She stood there in disbelief that she had somehow become a different person, let alone an evil antrhopomporhic cheetah woman.
"The dial!"
It hit her like a runaway train. The dial must have done this to her. Dammit, why didn't she listen to Brother Eye? It tried to warn her.
Jason scoured the rooftop, finding nothing.
"What, did it vanish? It was just right here!"
Jason groaned in her new feminine tone, facepalming.
"I swear, I'll never second guess Eye ever again. Just lemme find that damn dial..."
She pondered what might happen to her if she failed to change back. It would be near impossible to get anyone to believe her with the body of one of the JL's most wanted.
Bruce might have believed her but the Batcave was on the other side of town. Not to mention she was one of the most dangerous supervillains on the planet. Or at least, she appeared to be.
