"Well, sure," I say, shrugging. "Never done it with someone I could hold in my hand before. Guess that means we'll have to get creative with our dares?"
Even as tiny as he is, I can easily make out his excited grin. "Alright, alright, I get first dibs, though. Truth or dare?"
"Uh... truth?"
He hops down from my hand onto my thigh as I sit on the beanbag chair he was in moments ago, finding a nice spot to sit down himself as he looks up at me. "Have you... ever skinny dipped?"
I can't hide my blush as I think about it. "Oh! Uh... yeah, once. My uncle who lives a couple states over has a private pool. One time when we were visiting, my cousins Tim and Anne convinced me to join them for a late night summer swim while the adults were sleeping. I honestly can't remember how they talked me into it, but at some point we all had our clothes off and were just swimming around casual as could be." I rub the back of my head. "Pretty sure we were all sneaking glances at each other."
"Well, next time you go, you better invite me. That sounds like a lot of fun!" Something about the way he's looking at me tells me he's imagining what that would look like at his current size. "Okay, your turn, jumbo."
"Smooth. Okay, truth or dare?"
"Easy, dare! And make it a good one!"
I bite my lip as I think about it. I talked a big game about making this interesting, but coming up with something involving our sizes on the fly is difficult. Suddenly, an idea strikes me. "I've got it! I dare you to climb up to my shoulder."
"Oh, now that is a good one!" He stretches for a moment, then starts climbing along the shirt over my stomach. I can feel the pinching of fabric as he grabs handfuls to hold on and the slight tickle of his socked feet. It's hard not to react, but I can see that he's having to adjust for my breathing, timing his movements with the steady rise and fall. When he gets up to my chest, he pauses for a moment, holding on tight. Before I can ask if something's wrong, he shouts up "Dude, I can hear your heartbeat! It's so... thumpy, like I'm standing next to a big speaker!"
I chuckle. He really seems to be enjoying this, and that joy is pretty infectious. I let him hang there for a couple moments more before nudging him to continue. The rest of the climb is pretty easy. Jake had always been great at rock climbing, and I guess I make a pretty good wall. Once he catches his breath, he stands up and flashes me a big thumbs up. "Easy! Next time we'll have to try it without the shirt, I bet that'd be more of a challenge!"
"Geez, shrinking really didn't make you any less of a daredevil, huh?"
"Sure didn't! Speaking of... truth or dare?"
There's something about the gleam in his eyes that tells me he's come up with a fun scenario, and I can't resist finding out what it is. "Okay, hit me with your best dare now."
"I was hoping you'd say that!"
