Emma's ears perked up. "Transformation potions? What do you mean by that? Like I could transform Nicole and her friends into something else? Like animals or something?"
Hailey's eyes lit up. She could smell a sale. "Exactly that. You said they moo at you right? Probably call you names like pig and hippo too? Well what if you turned them into the kinds of things they accused you of being? They wouldn't be laughing then." Emma thought about her sister and her entire team turned into big, fat animals. It was a very pleasant thought. "Would these transformations be permanent?" she asked. Hailey grinned. "Not at all as long as you give them the right dose. The potions are very potent. A couple drops will transform anyone for about three days. If you happened to give them more than that, the transformation would last longer, maybe even forever. But you wouldn't do something like that... right? She let the last word hang in the air like a dare before casually adding "We do have inanimate object transformation potions as well that are always temporary. Food for example. 24 hours and then it's done unless the object was consumed or destroyed in that time. But you seem like a very careful girl," she said with a wink before handing Emma a potion catalogue.
As she looked at all her choices, Emma's mind was racing with possibilities. If the cheerleading squad were cows or pigs for a week they'd never make fun of her again. And if they were turned into cupcakes or something she could get rid of, they'd really never bother her again. It'd be a kind of poetic justice. "Well?" Hailey said, "What will it be?"
