The PokeNote was legit, no two ways about it. The strange notebook Heather held in her hands could do everything it said it could.
It was funny; she only intended to test it on the most basic level, see if it really could turn people into Pokemon anthros. Based on the rules, she assumed only writing a person's name would just turn them into a Pokemon and nothing else. Well, not that she expected it to actually happen, considering she totally--
... No. Being honest with herself, she only mostly doubted the PokeNote. A small part of her did genuinely want to believe in it. Otherwise, she wouldn't have even tried it.
Thinking back, it almost felt like the PokeNote went out of its way to disprove her doubts and go the whole nine yards. Not just transforming Laci into a Lapras woman, but transforming her into a total bombshell of a Lapras woman that's a good deal larger than any human in literally every aspect, and rewriting her personality into that of a playful flirt, and rewriting her memory to believe she'd always been this way!
Needless to say, but Heather's doubts were no more.
Only problem was this raised a ton of questions. How did she know Laci's last name? Why a Lapras? Was it a coincidence the notebook picked one of Heather's favorite Pokemon? Was there any logic to the other changes? Like, was the personality molded to fit the body, or the other way around? And really, why so sexy?
Heather grunted, rubbed her temples. "This doesn't make me a furry, does it? I mean, she doesn't have fur, so..."
Attraction to another woman was nothing new; she'd been experiencing that since puberty. Attraction to a non-human, though? That was a first.
"... She's still human-ish. That's good enough."
Heather sighed. The notebook already gave her a laundry list of things to think about. Fretting over it sparking a furry (plesiosaurry?) awakening in her could wait at the bottom of that list. Focusing on that now would only distract from the million other questions plaguing her. And if she wanted answers to those questions...
Another sigh. "I mean, it's not like I made Laci's life worse, right? Maybe I actually made it better. Or at least...sexier? And really, who doesn't want a sexier life?"
And so, without any immediate proof she'd ruined Laci's life, she decided to use the PokeNote again.
But now Heather faced yet another question: Who should she change this time?
There was Shawn, her only male roommate. She could try turning him into a woman as part of testing the notebook's body-changing abilities.
Or maybe the roommate she never wanted to see, Madison. Overhauling her personality would only do her good, after all.
On the other hand, why limit herself to just her other roommates? She wouldn't be able to see their changes right away, but other than that, she saw no reason why she couldn't transform a friend or coworker instead. Or--dare she even consider it--a family member.
