Faye had always had a crush on Alm, it was impossible to not notice, and while she was glad he had unified Valentia and slayed Duma, a small part of her resented him, she knew she shouldn't feel this way, that she should be glad that her friend had done something so amazing and found love while he did it, and that was the problem, he didn't love her, he loved Celica.
She didn't hate Celica, she even considered her a friend, she just wished Alm had choose her instead of Celica, but now it was impossible, now they were the Saint King and his beautiful Queen and she was just Faye, the girl he didn't love, the girl he saw as just a friend.
But now things were about to change, she had found a book, a special book that contained a love spell, well those weren't the exact words but it was close enough, it would allow the caster and the target to share a unique experience that would reinforce their bonds and allow them to understand eachother feelings, she was certain such a description could only belong to a love spell!
Silque had adviced her against using the spell, she told her there was something wrong with that book, that it would only bring her pain and misery, but Faye ignored her advice, after all she knew the priestess was jealous she dedicated so much time to Alm.
As soon as she learned how to properly cast the spell she parted to the valentian capital, obviously she told everyone it was just a brief friendly visit with no ulterior motives, she just needed to see Alm, her precious, sweet Alm, which was true, she just skipped the part of what she was going to do to him.
Now Faye was ready to put her plan in motion, she had hidden herself, not wanting Alm to know she was there, she wanted to cast the spell and then look how Alm would finally return her feelings, she picked a moment when Alm was alone, walking through the halls of his new palace without guards, now was the moment she had waited for, she took the book out and started reciting the incantation, she could feel the spell was working as a shining light was engulfing her whole body and then going straight into Alm!

Alm didn't know what hit him, he just knew it had been something very painful, maybe walking around without guards wasn't such a great idea after all, he slowly got up despite the pain and opened his eyes.
He noticed dirty blonde hair slightly covering his eyes, did his air suddenly change color? He move his hand to touch it but noticed his hand looked slimmer, and that he was wearing a bracelet.
"Huh?" Alm wondered, confused by the look of his arm, unfortunately it wouldn't be the only surprise he'll had that day. He noticed that blonde hair again, it wasn't just above his head, he had it hanging from it, braided with a pink ribbon in each side, he had a feeling he had seen a similar hair in the past.
Looking down at himself Alm was met by the worse surprise of his life, instead of looking at himself, wearing his newly made kingly armor, he was wearing a simple white and pink dress, with puffed out shoulder, a short brown cloak covering said shoulders and a pair of regular boots.
He knew a certain girl that always wore a set of clothes identical to the ones he was wearing but that would be impossible, there was no way he had become...
He gulped and decided to look at a nearby window, staring back at him was a girl with blonde hair and brown eyes, she had a terrified expression that didn't suit her face, he slowly took a hand to his cheek and the girl did the same, he wriggle on his new boots and the girl did the same, then he took the two braids he now had and pushed then with all his might, making himself scream in pain, and of course, the girl in the window did the same.
Now he had no doubts of what had happened, he had somehow become Faye, his old friend.
