As Melona pointed the wand at herself, she imagined all sorts of delicious foods she could have eaten, and suddenly...
"Ahn!" Melona gasped, face flushing. She felt far more mana sucked out of her wand than she had intended, while her body was hit by a strong bloated feeling, as well as a strange... arousal...? A strange tingle had shot through her at the moment of casting, giving her goosebumps. It slowly faded, but the fullness didn't.
It had... worked? She'd cast a spell? Not the one she was meaning to, sure, but she wasn't so hungry anymore! This could solve so many problems! Help so many people!
...Or not, Melona realized the longer she thought about it. Sure, she felt full, but what kind of nutritional value could a spell have? She'd once read somewhere about famine stricken towns that had gone as far as to eat clay just to feel full. Sure, it solved their hunger pains, but there was little nuitritional value to it, and many of those people died of malnutrition. Melona realized that if she even shared this spell with others it could be used by those who wanted to starve themselves to look thin, solving a temporary problem while making the long-term one worse. No, while it has at least helped her dull focus, she couldn't exactly say this spell was of much help at all, at least as far as she knew.
Still, she'd taken the first step to developing her own spell! There was much that still had to be done before it could even be registered, she didn't even have an incantation for it yet, but it was a step many of her classmates hadn't taken yet! Melona felt a twinge of excitement for the first time in a while. Sure, she wasn't any closer to completing her homework, but she was sure to get some sort of extracurricular credit for inventing a new spell!
She would need to talk to one of her professors about this, ideally one who would be able to assist her in fully perfecting the spell. As she thought about this, Melona began to feel sleepy, as if she had just had a huge meal. She supposed that in a way, she kind of had. She quickly changed into her pajamas and crawled under the covers. For once she couldn't wait to see her teachers...
Almost instantly she fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.
Although she could barely recognize it, a comfortable warmth began to radiate from her stomach, which slowly spread until her entire body was hot. A soft blue glow enveloped her body.
Warmth pooled in her chest, filling it and pushing it outwards until the slightest hint of cleavage formed.
Her hair softened, many of it's errant locks smoothing out.
And slowly, the glow died back down, the heat dissipating, leaving Melona to enjoy the rest of her sleep...
