"Piplup, use bubble beam!" Dawn called out, her voice tinged in desperation. Her Piplup stood up, beaten and battered, and launched a stream of bubbles towards his opponent. The Espeon target easily dodged out of the way and enveloped Piplup in an aura of psychic energy. He then lifted Piplup in the air and slammed him into the ground. "PIPLUP NOOO!" Dawn cried out as she saw her last pokemon faint on the ground. She recalled him into his ball and looked back to the Espeon, an ominous sense of dread gripping her.
Earlier that day, she had been in high hopes as she walked through the forest to the next town. Then the Espeon had jumped out in front of her, sitting in the middle of the path. She had tried to walk around him, but he put up a psychic barrier, preventing her from passing. She took this as a sign as him wanting to battle, so she obliged. However, she soon found herself in over her head as she watched each of her pokemon get destroyed.
"What do you want from me?" She asked, voice trembling. The Espeon responded by using his psychic powers to infiltrate her mind, snaking its way in and clouding her thoughts. She gripped her head and cried out for help, her pleas falling on deaf ears. Her vision darkens until she passes out and collapses on the ground. When she wakes up, she finds herself in a dark void with only a bright light to guide her. She hesitantly walked towards it, the closer she gets it not only becomes brighter but she can make out a figure in it. Racing towards it she begins to make out the Espeon from before as well as the path she was traveling. Desperate to escape the darkness that surrounded her she charged forwards, only to smack into an invisible wall. She then threw herself into it, slamming her fists in desperation shouting, "What's going on, where am I, let me out!"
'SILENCE' A voice rung out around her, seeming to come from everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
"Who said that?" She asked fearfully.
'Me, the Espeon whom you have lost to.' The voice rung out.
"Wait how are you talking to me then, and how can you be talking to me when you're not even here." She replied.
'That's because you are now trapped in your own mind, your body now governed by a simpler conscious, one that will obey me without question. Isn't that right slave?.' The Espeon asked.
"Yes Master." Dawns voice answered, without her speaking it.
"No, you can't do this to me! I'm a person, you can't keep me as your slave, that's wrong!" Dawn cried out.
'Like how you keep my kin as slaves.' He accused, plucking Dawns belt with his powers and levitating it to himself.
"That's not true, they're my friends and I treat them with dignity and respect!" She retorted.
'Of course you did.' He said dismissively. 'But now you are under my control and you shall do everything I tell you to.'
"What would you like me to do Master?" Dawn's body asked, ready and willing.
