dream comes true but with a catch

Nate is a passionate Star Trek fan who often feels out of place in the modern world. He dreams of adventure, camaraderie, and exploring strange new worlds.
One fateful night, after another day of longing for the adventures of the USS Enterprise and Captain Kirk, Nate makes a wish on a shooting star to be part of the crew.

Nate finds himself waking up in a quarters that resembles those on the USS Enterprise. Confused yet exhilarated, he explores the ship, eventually running into familiar faces: Kirk, Spock, Uhura, and McCoy.
To Nate's surprise, he has assumed the identity of a female crew member….
