Finance Problems

You reached your home and begin to unpack and unload the new loot you've gathered. Along the process, your curiosity got you, you can't stop thinking on the cause of frustration of the father. You've figured since you didn't have anything to do at the moment, you'd go back to the apartment and spy on the father and figured what is the cause of his frustration.
You quickly finished organizing your new supplies, grabbing a granola bar to munch on as you made your way back to Apartment 503. The building was quieter now, with fewer people coming and going as you heard from the holes in the wall.

You made your way to the apartment and carefully peeked through the small gap behind the fridge. The father was sitting on the couch, his head in his hands. He seemed lost in thought, and you wondered if he had even noticed the missing items in the bathroom.
Suddenly, the father's head snapped up, and you watched as he grabbed the phone from the armrest. He started talking, his voice low and urgent, but you couldn't make out what he was saying. You stayed still and listened carefully for hints of what had caused his frustration. As you heard him talking about money troubles and overdue bills, it all clicked into place. The father had been worried about how to pay their bills on time with their meager income.

You knew that this was a problem faced by many families during these tough times, but it felt different hearing it firsthand. You were filled with sadness and a newfound appreciation for your own situation as you watched the man talk on the phone in desperation. You thanked your lucky stars that you weren't in his position, but at the same time, you wished there was something more you could do to help him out of his financial predicament.

You stayed hidden until the phone call was over and the father had calmed down. You slowly backed away from the gap, feeling like you had seen enough. As you silently made your way back to your own hideout, you couldn't help but feel a deep compassion for the family in Apartment 503, especially the father.

You have the following choices:

1. Decide to help him, somehow

2. Call it a day and head back

3. Something else

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
