"I guess I just wanted the life I tried to give my fiance. Stable relationship, happiness, security, you know." Jessica saw a small tear run down Tom's eye. She could tell the break up hurt him.
"I'm sure you'll find that, this house could help with that." She wasn't trying to sell him a bill of goods, she actually thought there was something special about the house.
"Maybe," Tom said.
Tom went home and decided to send in a bid slightly over asking price. When the previous owner asked Jessica about the visit, they decided to sell. Tom got the house and a month later got a chance to move in. He had movers help him, as he had no real friends in the area. The first night in the house he had a chance to reflect, and felt a little content in the house.
