You decided that you were going to move on away from the strange statues, and away from the waters outside, not wanting to be caught by what ever was out there, but not wanting to go back out into the foggy forest, you instead decided to go look deeper into the strange temple like place, all the while as you moved away, you felt pairs of eyes watching you still, as if curious as to see what you do here in this abandoned temple.
You followed down a stony hallway, and saw plenty of touches, many of which were alit, indicating that maybe this place isnt so abandoned as you first though, though you have yet to see anyone... or anything.
Turning around, you saw a few door ways, and another path going into a larger room.
